Pace of Play

Pace of Play: The Board of Trustee’s has emphasized the importance of eliminating slow play. The experience of walking in a foursome is the model by which we established the following pace of play guidelines;

  • 8:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. tee times must play in or under 4 hours and 10 minutes.
  • 10:10 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. tee times must play in or under 4 hours and 20 minutes.
  • 12:10 p.m. and later times must play under 4 hours and 30 minutes.

Other ways to ensure a quicker pace of play include playing ready golf by being ready to play even if you are not “away”! Do not always rely on the caddie to read every putt and assist them by getting your own divot, repairing ball marks, and raking your bunker if the caddies are busy with other players. Play from the appropriate tee markers.  If you have a bad hole, just pick up and take the maximum allowable strokes for your handicap.
